Job Description:
The RN in this ICU unit is responsible for providing critical care to trauma, cardiac, and other patients with complex needs, including sepsis, stroke, and respiratory distress.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care for a variety of critical care patients.
- Titrate cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation as needed.
- Read, interpret, and document cardiac strips.
- Float to PCU or MedSurg as required.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license.
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
- Pass 90% on an open book skills exam during orientation.
