Job Description:

RNs will provide care to ICU boarders that will be in the PACU unit. The expected patient population will be Trauma overflow; however, previous trauma training is not required. RN may float to ED for ICU holds or to other ICU/Stepdown units based on need/census.

Responsibilities:

• Assesses, implements, and evaluates care needed by assigned patients under the direction of the licensed physician.
• Collaborates with the patient, patient's family member(s)/significant others, professional peers, and other members of the health care team to individualize patient care.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• PA Registered Nurse License required.
• Basic Life Support required.
• 1 year experience in area of clinical specialty preferred.
