Job Description:

We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit specializing in Neuro or High Acuity Cardiac care. The position involves working night shifts with first-to-float responsibilities and requires active participation over every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Provide critical care to patients in the Neuro or High Acuity Cardiac ICU.
• Manage high acuity cases including stroke certified programs, advanced heart failure, surgical recovery, and use of CRRT, Balloon pumps, and Swans.

Requirements:

• RN with more than 3 years of critical care experience in either Cardiac surgery or Neuro ICU.
• Knowledge and experience with EVDSs, NI patients, and all aspects of stroke patient care.
• Active IL RN license, ACLS/NIHSS/BLS certification required.
• Must provide a current high acuity ICU reference.
