Travel Nurse RN - House Supervisor - $2,728 per week in Newark, NY

Schedule: 36 hours per week (three 8-hour shifts and one 12-hour shift). Shift times range between 3p-11p, 11p-7a, and 7p-7a. Every other weekend required.
Highlights:
- Serve as RN Supervisor for a 180-bed skilled nursing facility with five specialized units
- Provide clinical leadership during evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts across the entire facility
- Work with diverse patient populations including dementia care, rehabilitation, long-term care, and specialized neurobehavioral units
- EPIC EMR system in use facility-wide
- Comprehensive orientation with 80 hours provided
- Interdisciplinary team support including PT, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and more
Requirements:
- Active New York RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience with previous charge or supervisory experience required
- EPIC charting system experience is required
- BLS certification current and in good standing
- Experience with code management, de-escalation techniques, and managing assaultive behavior
- Proficiency in IV starts and maintenance, PICC line care, wound vac management, and specialty equipment
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements including DPH, TJC, and OSHA standards
- Experience with incident reporting, risk management, and sentinel event monitoring
- Understanding of staffing models, productivity standards, and coaching to performance standards
- First-time travelers accepted; candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
