Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Hospice Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 1 full year of Adult Home Health Experience or 1 full year of Hospice Experience License: Must have nursing license in hand Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: Proficiency in HomeCare HomeBase and Oasis Description: Provides coordinates and directs the provision of home nursing care according to physician's orders based on agency policies and procedures. Responsible for the competent application of the nursing process. Directly supervises and evaluates Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses. Home visits required. Must have reliable transportation and a current driver's license. Must have agency-required liability insurance. Average number of patients per day is 5-8. Contractor will be assigned between 5-10 patients per day, equating to roughly 6-8 points. Must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from the assigned care center. Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate. No guaranteed hours. Must accept every patient on the schedule regardless of distance from previous appointment. All documentation must be completed within 24 hours of the appointment. Delayed and incomplete documentation may result in cancellation. Experience required in home health or hospice setting. Local candidates accepted at the same rate. Must be open to on-call rotations. All travelers must be proficient in HomeCare HomeBase and Oasis within the last 6 months. Additional training may be required if not proficient. Expectations include hitting weekly productivity points. All overtime must be pre-approved.
