Endoscopy RN Registered Nurse Endoscopy 13 weeks Day Shift 5x8 hours Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy experience Active SC license or Compact license required Required certifications: BLS, ACLS Description: The Endoscopy RN will provide care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. The RN will be responsible for monitoring patients before, during, and after procedures. The nurse will administer medications as needed and assist with the overall procedure. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Endoscopy. The position requires adherence to safety and procedural protocols. On-call duties, including weekend call, are required. Travelers should be flexible and open to accommodating scheduling requests. All required documentation and compliance measures must be completed prior to starting. Candidates will work in a collaborative environment with support from interdisciplinary teams. The daily census in the unit may vary, and patient demographics include adults and geriatrics. The RN may be required to float within similar units depending on facility needs. This role involves active participation in emergency response during designated seasons. Preferred skills include experience with various endoscopic procedures and technology.
