Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $56 to $58 per hour in Chariton, IA

Job Title: ED Registered Nurse (RN) – Nights Weekend Package
Location: Chariton, IA 
Job Type: Contract (13 weeks)
Shift: Nights, Friday–Sunday, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM (works 5 out of 6 weekends)

Responsibilities:

• Provide safe and effective nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.

• Plan, organize, and direct nursing functions, including direct patient care.

• Assess, prioritize, and implement nursing interventions based on patients’ physical, psychological, educational, and discharge needs.

• Administer medications and intravenous solutions skillfully and accurately.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC EMR.

• Assist other departments, including Med-Surg, as needed.

• Participate in planning improvements and changes in departmental processes.

• Maintain a professional work environment, demonstrating courtesy, cooperation, and confidentiality.

• Adhere to infection control policies and hospital protocols.

• Attend meetings, in-services, and orientation programs as required.

• Work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

• Other duties as assigned.
