Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)

Location: Red Bluff, CA
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Shift: Night Shift (12-hour shifts, 3 days/week)
Pay Rate: $2,600 – $2,800 per week

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and fast-paced Registered Nurse (RN) – ER to join a healthcare facility in Red Bluff, CA. The ER RN will provide immediate and critical care to patients experiencing acute illnesses or injuries in a high-pressure emergency department setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide rapid assessment and triage of patients in the emergency department
  • Deliver direct patient care for a wide range of conditions, including trauma and acute illness
  • Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency treatments
  • Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to life-threatening situations
  • Assist with emergency procedures such as intubation, trauma resuscitation, and cardiac care
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards
Required Qualifications:
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (CA or compact state)
  • Minimum 2 years of ER experience
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification preferred
  • Strong triage and emergency response skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
