Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description: The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients experiencing medical emergencies, trauma, or acute illness. This role requires strong critical-thinking skills, rapid decision-making, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, triage, and prioritize patient care based on severity of illness or injury.
• Perform rapid patient assessments including vital signs, physical exams, and medical history.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, injections, and emergency treatments following physician orders.
• Monitor patient condition and respond quickly to changes or emergency situations.
• Perform and assist with emergency procedures such as CPR, intubation, wound care, splinting, or trauma interventions.
• Operate and monitor medical equipment such as cardiac monitors, ventilators, and defibrillators.
• Collect specimens for lab testing and interpret results to support care decisions.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members including physicians, technicians, and paramedics.
• Provide emotional support, education, and updates to patients and families.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Comply with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.
• Participate in code blue and rapid response team activities.
