Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 - 19:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active nursing license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, ENPC (within 90 days of hire) Must-Have: - 2 years of experience as a nurse with at least 1 year in an Emergency Room setting - Experience in a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center - Teamwork mentality and ability to coach and give feedback in real-time - Flexibility to work in all areas of the Emergency Department Description: We are committed to making a positive impact in healthcare. We operate a busy Emergency Department with high patient volume. Patient ratios are typically 4:1 for medical cases, increasing for behavioral holds. Technicians, unit clerks, and advanced monitoring equipment support our nursing staff. Documentation is handled through a specialized electronic system. Scheduling requires availability every other weekend with no block scheduling commitments. Nurses must be open to floating within sections of the Emergency Department. Patient experience is a priority, requiring respectful behavior and attentive service. Advanced skills and certifications are essential for this role, with a focus on real-time feedback and teamwork.
