Key Responsibilities of the Travel Emergency Department Nurse:
- Deliver timely, high-quality care in a fast-paced Emergency Department
- Efficiently triage and assess patients' conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation
- Respond promptly to emergencies and trauma situations
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and families
Requirements of the Travel Emergency Department Nurse:
- Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) licence or valid Compact licence
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI. TNCC and ENPC certifications
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an Emergency Department setting
