Job Opportunity – Emergency Room RN – Florida

Start Date: May 4, 2026
Location: Davie, Florida
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts (36 hours guaranteed) or 8/10 hour shifts (40 hours guaranteed); weekend coverage as needed; floating within scope as needed

Highlights:

  • Emergency Department position with Critical Care and ER clinical tracks
  • Epic EMR experience required at a Level 3 or 4 facility
  • First-time travelers welcome with at least 18 months of ER experience
  • Local candidates accepted at the same rate
  • Guaranteed hours: 36 for 3x12 shifts or 40 for 8/10 hour shifts
  • Time-sensitive pre-start modules required (6-15 hours, non-billable)

Requirements:

  • Active, unencumbered RN license (no pending licenses accepted; no license hits accepted)
  • Minimum 18 months ER experience required; 2 years preferred
  • Current certifications required at time of submission: BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS, PALS
  • NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start
  • Epic charting system experience required at a Level 3 or 4 facility
  • Skills required: arterial line management, dysrhythmia management, central line care, IV vasopressors, BiPAP/CPAP, ventilated patient care, isolation precautions, and triage
  • Must pass EKG and Pharmacy tests during orientation (2 attempts max; study materials provided)
  • Nicotine-free status required; 10-panel drug screen plus cotinine (nicotine) test required within 12 months of start
  • COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only)
  • All time-off requests must be submitted at time of application; later requests unlikely to be approved
