Job Title: RN - Emergency Department Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Emergency Department License: Valid RN License Certifications: ALS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC Required Must-Have: Candidates without the following certifications will not be considered for the role: - ALS - BLS - TNCC - ENPC Description: This is a backfill contract position for an RN in the Emergency Department. The position requires availability for a 13-week duration with shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM. No on-call requirements are needed. The unit consists of 23 beds and is staffed by approximately 40 personnel. Patient ratios are maintained at 4:1. Staffing levels may fluctuate based on patient volume. The unit conducts a variety of procedures, including cardioversion, TNK, and moderate sedation. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a team-oriented spirit, flexibility, and a positive demeanor. The dress code mandates navy blue scrubs. Unit policies align with standard operating procedures. The unit has received recognition as a Certified Primary Stroke Center and Level IV Trauma Center. The work environment is characterized by a close-knit culture, providing strong support for unit team members. Collaboration with providers is essential and occurs regularly. The unit has successfully retained its staff, maintaining low turnover rates even during challenging times. Candidates with two years of experience in the Emergency Department will be prioritized.
