Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required in the emergency room. First-time travelers accepted. License: Current nursing license required. Certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS. ACLS. PALS (must have at time of submission). NIHSS (must obtain prior to start). Must-Have: Epic experience at a level of 3 or 4 required. Negative 10-panel drug screen required, including nicotine. Smoke-free facility; all travelers must be nicotine-free. Description: This position is for a registered nurse in the emergency room. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in the emergency room setting. First-time travelers are accepted for this role. Weekend work is required as needed. Clinicians may float within scope to meet facility needs. All requests for time off must be submitted upfront. Travelers will need to comply with facility policies, including EKG and pharmacology tests during orientation. There are specific modules that must be prioritized upon confirmation of the assignment. Negative drug screening and nicotine testing is required within 12 months of the start date. The facility has a strict do not call policy. Modules are non-billable and average 6-15 hours, completed before starting and annually, varying by specialty. Candidates must have 2 references from a direct supervisor or manager with 18 months of experience required, with 2 years preferred. The facility does not accept any license issues.
