Description: **Responsibilities: Responsible for providing leadership and direction for nursing on Madonna s skilled nursing patient and resident care areas on a 24-hour a day 7-day per week basis. Responsible for orientation, supervision, performance management, and continuing education of nursing staff. Responsible for nursing quality and the development and implementation of quality assurance programs and improvements on assigned areas based on data collection, synthesis, analysis, and evidenced-based standards of care. Participates in professional organizations and in Madonna sponsored activities. Is active and supports research activities. Work will be performed in an ethical and legal manner following organizational policies, processes, protocols and procedures. Responsible for quality service delivery and internal/external customer relations for Madonna as a whole, including upholding the mission and values for the department and facility.**Qualifications (Education/training and/or Experience): Must possess current Nebraska RN license, BSN preferred. Three years clinical experience and three years supervisor/management experience required. Must possess sufficient knowledge and skill in the area of nursing to assess quality of service delivery, staff performance, and the regulatory and MDS knowledge of the long-term care facility. Proven leadership and organizational skills to effectively achieve positive results and represent Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in the community in a positive manner.
