Job Title: Director of Labor & Delivery

Overview:
Join a dynamic healthcare team as the Director of Labor & Delivery, where your strategic leadership will directly impact the care of mothers, newborns, and families. This pivotal role oversees clinical operations, staff development, regulatory compliance, and quality initiatives, partnering with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes. Pay: $3400 weekly
Location: Grand Junction, CO 

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Masters degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of Labor & Delivery clinical experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership or management experience in healthcare settings
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or ability to obtain
  • BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
  • Proven ability to lead clinical teams, implement quality improvement initiatives, and ensure regulatory compliance

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Maternal or neonatal certifications are highly preferred
  • Experience working within hospital or healthcare facility leadership roles
  • Familiarity with maternal and neonatal care standards and best practices

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Colorado RN license
  • Certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP are required
  • Expected to support departmental staffing, resource management, and budget oversight
  • Willingness to collaborate with diverse healthcare professionals and hospital leadership
