Travel Nurse RN - Clinical Nurse Coordinator - $2,357 per week in Charlotte, NC

Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
Highlights:
- Skilled Nursing Facility focused on short-term rehabilitation for 14-21 day stays
- Patient ratio of 1:12 with average daily census of 9 residents
- No call, no float, and no weekend requirements
- Full MDS coordination responsibilities including assessments, care planning, and utilization review
- Epic EMR system with supportive interdisciplinary team including PT/OT, ST, pharmacy, and social services
- 13-week contract with 24-hour unit orientation following initial hospital orientation
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
- Current MDS experience within the last 3 years required – hands-on assessment completion experience, not management role
- Active North Carolina or Compact state RN license required at start
- BLS certification required
- Experience in Long Term Acute Care, Skilled Nursing, Managed Care, and Rehabilitation settings required
- Proficiency in admission criteria, appeals and denials, audits, care coordination, clinical documentation improvement, discharge planning, and needs assessments
- Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, CPT and ICD-10 coding, and MDS regulatory requirements
- Epic charting system experience required
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
- First-time travelers accepted
