Travel Nurse RN - Case Manager - $2,425 per week in Torrance, CA

Location: Torrance, California

Schedule: Days, 1:20 patient ratio, every other weekend, holiday rotation required

Highlights:

• Acute care case management and discharge planning with daily caseload up to 25 patients
• Epic charting system; InterQual experience highly preferred
• Work with diverse patient populations across all age groups including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Strong interdisciplinary support including IV teams, PT, respiratory services, pharmacy, social services, and more
• 40-hour orientation with comprehensive training on admission criteria and care coordination
• Business attire or scrubs dress code in acute care facility setting

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years acute care case management or discharge planning experience required
• Active California RN license (pending license accepted but must be active by start date)
• Epic EMR experience required; InterQual competency highly preferred
• Experience with admission reviews, care coordination, and discharge planning across multiple units including ED, Mother Baby, and NICU
• Knowledge of Medicare/MediCal guidelines, HMOs, IPAs, and medical necessity determination
• Ability to arrange DME, SNF placement, and ambulance transport independently
• First-time travelers accepted with screening; travel experience preferred
• Availability to work every other weekend and commit to 3 of 5 major holidays
