Travel Nurse RN - Case Manager - $1,845 per week in Austin, TX

Location: Austin, Texas

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM), rotating weekends every other week, no on-call required

Highlights:

• 13-week contract assignment in a dynamic, high-acuity hospital setting
• Work across multiple specialty units including ICU, Observation, Telemetry, PCU, Neuro, and Ortho
• EMR system: Meditech/Midas
• Manageable patient ratio of approximately 1:30 RN to patient caseload
• No on-call requirements – excellent work-life balance
• Collaborate with a skilled team of 15 RNs and 15 Social Workers

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN license or compact state license eligible for Texas endorsement
• Minimum 1 year of bedside case management experience required
• Meditech or HCA experience required
• Post-acute care knowledge required
• Experience with discharge planning, care progression, and throughput processes preferred
• Strong communication skills with ability to navigate difficult conversations with patients, families, and physicians
