$2,400 – $2,500 per week

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse with strong cardiothoracic surgical experience for a travel assignment in Greensburg, PA. This is a heart team position working primarily weekday day shifts with structured call requirements.

This role requires true cardiovascular OR experience — general OR-only backgrounds will not be considered.

Schedule & Call Details

• Standard schedule: Monday–Friday
• Typical shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Early clock-in possible depending on heart case start times
• Weekday call required 1–2 times per week
• Weekend call required 1–2 weekends per 6-week schedule
• Call is taken from home (must live within 30–40 minutes when on assignment housing)
• Team rarely gets called in on weekends

Responsibilities

• Circulate in cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgical procedures
• Support open-heart and complex cardiac cases
• Maintain sterile field and surgical workflow
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and heart team staff
• Participate in weekday and weekend call rotation
• Float within hospital if needed

Unit Details

• 10 OR rooms
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Average 2 cardiac cases per day
• 3 RN heart team members
