Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cardiovascular ICU – Texas
Start Date: December 1, 2025
Location: Arlington, Texas

Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio | Two weekend shifts per two-week period | No on-call required
Highlights:
- 16-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit specializing in post-operative cardiac surgery and hemodynamic monitoring
- Advanced critical care technology including Impella, CRRT (NextStage), Swan Ganz, arterial lines, chest tubes, and ventilators
- Collaborative nursing team of 45 RNs with clinical nurse coordinator support on every shift
- Meditech EMR system with GE monitoring and EV 1000 hemodynamic platforms
- Travel nursing assignment with consistent 2:1 staffing ratios ensuring manageable workload
- May float to Medical ICU, Neuro Surgical ICU, or Cardiac Progressive Care as needed
Requirements:
- Active Texas RN license or compact state licensure
- Minimum 2 years of recent critical care experience (Adult ICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, or similar)
- Ventilator management experience required
- Proficiency with arterial lines, central lines, and chest tube management
- CVICU-specific experience, CABG recovery, CRRT, and Impella experience strongly preferred
- BSN and CCRN certification preferred
