Job Title: Psychiatric RN - Behavioral Health Nurse (6-Month Contract)

Pay Package:
$45 per hour

Required Skills:

• Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
• Active RN license in West Virginia or a compact state
• Minimum 1 year of acute psychiatric RN experience
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Ability to perform patient assessments, administer medications, and participate in care planning
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with physicians, supervising staff, and educating patients and families
• Strong documentation and clinical skills in mental health environments

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Prior experience working in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting
• Hands-on experience supervising LPNs and nursing assistants
• Proven ability to manage a busy psychiatric unit efficiently

Other Requirements:

• Shift flexibility, with 8 or 12-hour rotating shifts including weekends
• Open to local and travel RNs
• Valid licensing and certifications as specified
• No additional travel or license requirements beyond those listed
