Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Outpatient Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in outpatient surgery, including preoperative and phase 2 recovery. License: Permanent license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS. Must-Have: - Previous charge experience: 1 year. - Experience with patient ratios: able to manage 2 patients. - Charting system experience: required. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the outpatient surgery specialty. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient surgery, focusing on preoperative care and phase 2 recovery. Charge experience is preferred. The ability to manage a patient ratio of 2 is essential. Experience with the Epic charting system is required. Experience in community hospital settings, LTAC, and trauma levels I and II is preferred. Flexibility to float to other areas and participate in on-call duty once a week is expected. Weekend coverage is required every 5th-6th weekend. Candidates must be willing to work with a diverse patient population, including all age groups. Compliance with flu vaccination policies, with allowances for medical or religious exemptions, is required.
