The role involves caring for adults and children with conditions related to the musculoskeletal system, including bones, muscles, and joints. Responsibilities include treating fractures, sprains, arthritis, and sports injuries. The goal is to help patients return to their previous level of function before the injury or condition arose. The orthopedic team provides care before, during, and after surgery. Services include arthroscopy, arthritis care, carpal tunnel treatments, fracture management, and more. RN will educate patients about their conditions and work with them to create personalized care plans. The unit is small, and the candidate must be comfortable working independently. Candidates should be prepared to start immediately. Requests for time off must be noted upfront and cannot exceed five days during the assignment. Voicemail must be set up for communication purposes. Personal scrubs of any color are required.
