The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality patient care by assessing patient health problems, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining medical records. The RN collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient treatment and recovery.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssess patient health conditions and record medical histories.
Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Administer medications, treatments, and injections as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor patient vital signs and progress.
Operate and monitor medical equipment.
Assist doctors during examinations and procedures.
Educate patients and families about treatment plans and health management.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Follow hospital policies, infection control procedures, and safety regulations.
Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Diploma in Nursing (GNM).
Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license from the relevant nursing council (e.g., State Nursing Council / Nursing and Midwifery Council).
0–2 years for entry-level RN positions.
2+ years preferred for specialized departments (ICU, ER, NICU, etc.).
Strong clinical and patient care skills.
Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
Teamwork and collaboration with healthcare professionals.
Basic computer skills for electronic medical records.
