Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Outpatient Clinic Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Active state license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Must have an active state license in hand to apply - BLS certification must be in hand Description: Position requires an Outpatient RN. Shift hours are from 08:00 to 16:30. Patient ratios are 1:4. First-time travelers are not accepted. Weekend work is required every other weekend. The clinician will not float to other departments. Block scheduling requests can be discussed during the interview. Local candidates are accepted with no radius requirement. A total of 36 hours can be canceled by the client within the 13-week assignment without pay for the canceled hours. If more hours are canceled, the client is billed for those hours. Travelers must be able to secure housing and complete compliance needs in a timely manner. Candidates will work with adult and geriatric patient populations. The daily census is approximately 22 patients. The unit provides infusion services, routine dressing changes, and lab draws. Special procedures include the management of IV antibiotics and supportive care for patients. Candidates must be able to handle a fast-paced outpatient infusion clinic environment. Floating between facilities may be required. All certifications should be current and in alignment with the job description. Candidates will be expected to work two out of three major holidays. The candidate must have experience with the Cerner charting system.
