Job Title: Staff RN - Ambulatory Clinics Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Breast Imaging Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 1st Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience preferred License: Current state Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC Certifications: Current Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certification Must-Have: Clinical experience and/or interest in the care and management of patient populations Description: The Staff RN - Ambulatory Clinics works collaboratively as an active member of the interprofessional team to provide therapeutic patient and family-centered care. The Staff RN systematically and continuously collects and assesses data related to patient health status to develop, execute, and evaluate the plan of care. The Staff RN utilizes evidence to drive clinical decisions and practice related to individual and population health. The Staff RN establishes goals and strategies for meeting care coordination needs across settings with the patient, family, and/or other care providers. The Staff RN considers factors related to safety, effectiveness, and fiscal accountability in planning and delivering care. The Staff RN delegates and supervises care in accordance with state Nurse Practice regulations. The Staff RN participates in continuous quality improvement initiatives and assumes responsibility for their professional development. Major accountabilities of this role include patient care coordination, direct patient care, patient education, telephone triage, and performing or assisting with in-clinic minor procedures. The role may float to other areas as needed for operational needs. Other duties as assigned.
