The Director of Clinical Services will oversee clinical programs within a behavioural health setting, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, program development, and regulatory compliance.
This role provides clinical leadership, manages multidisciplinary teams, and ensures services align with the organisation s mission to support individuals with mental health and substance use disorders.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Management
- Provide strategic direction to clinical teams including therapists and social workers
- Oversee daily clinical operations to ensure efficiency and collaboration
- Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and patient-centred care
- Contribute to leadership decisions and organisational alignment
Program Development & Implementation
- Develop and evaluate evidence-based clinical programs
- Integrate best practices into treatment planning
- Lead initiatives to improve patient outcomes and service delivery
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
- Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting standards
- Oversee safety and infection control practices
Staff Development & Supervision
- Supervise, mentor, and support clinical staff
- Provide clinical supervision and ensure adherence to best practices
- Lead training, development, and performance management
- Review caseloads to optimise service delivery
Collaboration & Communication
- Partner with leadership to align clinical and organisational goals
- Act as liaison between staff, leadership, and external stakeholders
- Build relationships with community partners and referral sources
Additional Responsibilities
- Oversee crisis intervention and care coordination
- Support policy development and regulatory alignment
- Address patient concerns and ensure quality care delivery
- Participate in leadership initiatives and service development
- Master s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field
- Current state licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent)
Full-time position
Pay Range:
$90,000 $115,000 per annum
