Position Overview
A healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Travel MRI Technologist to join the imaging team for an overnight assignment. The MRI Tech will perform high-quality magnetic resonance imaging studies while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with established imaging protocols.
Schedule & Compensation
Shift: Night Shift | 4 × 10-Hour Shifts
Schedule: Friday – Monday | 9:00 PM – 7:30 AMWeekly Gross Pay: $2,600 – $2,800
Responsibilities
Perform MRI examinations with a high level of accuracy and adherence to safety standards.
Prepare patients and MRI equipment prior to procedures.
Administer contrast media in accordance with scope of practice and facility protocols.
Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to optimize imaging quality and protocols.
Accurately document procedures, contrast usage, and patient care activities.
Monitor patients throughout procedures and provide reassurance and support.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the MRI suite.
Ensure compliance with MRI safety guidelines, infection control, and regulatory requirements.
Deliver excellent patient-centered care and customer service.
Required Qualifications
Active New York State Radiologic Technologist LicenseorNuclear Medicine License with injection certification
ARRT (R)(MR) Certification
BLS Certification
Minimum 2+ years of MRI experience preferred
