Travel Monitor Tech - $30 to $34 per hour in Phoenix, AZ

Location: Phoenix, AZ
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Shift: Night Shift (12-hour shifts, 3 days/week)
Pay Rate: $30 – $34 per hour
Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Monitor Technician to join a healthcare team in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for continuous cardiac monitoring of patients, accurately interpreting cardiac rhythms, and promptly reporting any abnormalities to the clinical team to ensure patient safety and optimal care.

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms via telemetry equipment
• Identify and promptly report arrhythmias or abnormal heart rhythms to nursing staff
• Maintain continuous surveillance of assigned patients
• Document rhythm strips and significant events accurately
• Ensure proper functioning of telemetry equipment and troubleshoot as needed
• Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare staff
• Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Respond quickly to alarms and emergency situations

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Monitor Technician or Telemetry Technician
• Completion of a Telemetry/Monitor Technician training program preferred
• Strong knowledge of cardiac rhythms and arrhythmia interpretation
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills
