Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field as required by client.
- Valid ASCP or AMT certification required.
- State laboratory licensure required where applicable.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory experience as a CLS / MLS / Medical Technologist.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience working night shift schedules in an acute care hospital preferred.
- Experience with clinical chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, blood banking, and microbiology instrumentation preferred.
