Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technician or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. Equivalent education from an institution of higher education recognized by the U.S. Department of Education is acceptable.
- Valid MLT/MLS/CLS certification through an accrediting agency such as ASCP, AMT, AAB, or HHS required. Tennessee state licensure preferred if applicable.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory experience required. Experience in chemistry, hematology, and blood bank preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, specifically Cerner, preferred.
- BLS certification where applicable.
- Applicants must meet CLIA grandfathering provisions if qualifying under military laboratory training and experience criteria.

- Shift hours: 1800–0630.
- Schedule pattern: 3x12 shifts with alternating weekends.
- Floating: Candidate must be willing to float to other lab locations within the system.
