Travel Medical Technologist - $2,100 to $2,300 per week in Madison, WI

Position Overview:
- Role: Medical Technologist (MT/MLS)
- Location: Madison, WI
- Tentative Start Date: March 23, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks with possible extension
- Shift: Night shift, 5x8 hours (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM), Monday–Friday with every other weekend required
- Hours per week: 40
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine to complex laboratory testing across chemistry, hematology, immunology, microbiology, and urinalysis
- Apply specialized scientific and technical knowledge to ensure accurate and timely test results
- Conduct specimen preparation, accessioning, transport, and reporting
- Review and interpret quality control data to maintain testing accuracy
- Carry out advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and problem resolution for laboratory equipment and processes
- Demonstrate strong decision-making skills and the ability to work independently
- Take on teaching and training responsibilities for staff or students when needed
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and disposal of blood specimens and hazardous materials
- Follow transmission-based precautions and safety protocols in handling specimens
- Maintain compliance with quality assurance standards and hospital policies
- Provide laboratory services for patient populations including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
