Travel Medical Technologist - $1,504 to $1,704 per week in Lewiston, ID

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field as required by individual clients.
• Valid ASCP or AMT certification required. (Client specifically requires ASCP Medical Technologist certification; attach to submission packet.)
• In licensure states, Laboratory Licensure in appropriate specialty for the department or location assignment as applicable to the state.
• Minimum 5 years recent experience as a Medical Technologist as required by the facility. (Preferred: 1 year baseline listed by some clients; facility requires 5 years recent.)
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association required; attach to submission packet.
• Required technical experience: blood bank procedures, MTS gel and tube methods.
• Required instrumentation and skills: Beckman Coulter hematology systems (models 520 and 690), manual differentials, body fluid cell counts and differentials, Werfen coagulation instrumentation, urine microscopic procedures.
• Experience in hospital clinical laboratory environment required. Preferred: prior work in community hospital settings.
• Submission requirements: candidate packet must include ASCP certification, AHA BLS, SSN & DOB, RTR, and vendor submittal packet per facility instructions. Use the facility submission template in the order notes to avoid rejection. (Preferred items may be included but must be marked as such.)
