Travel Medical Technologist - $1,268 to $1,468 per week in Commerce Township, MI

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field as required by the client.
• Valid ASCP or AMT certification required.
• In licensure states, Laboratory Licensure in the appropriate specialty for the department or location assignment as applicable to the state.
• 1 year of experience as a CLS / MLS / Medical Technologist.
• BLS certification.
• Experience working in a hospital clinical laboratory environment. (Client-specific)
• Familiarity with clinical chemistry, hematology, blood bank, and microbiology instrumentation and procedures. (Client-specific)

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Hospital.
• Expected Hours: 40 per week.
• Shift Pattern: 5x8 schedule.
• Assignment Length: 12-week contract.
