Job Title: Medical Technologist Profession: Medical Technologist Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM Experience: Minimum of 3 years of recent lab supervisor experience License: HS diploma and completion of a training program approved or accredited by the appropriate organizations Certifications: ASCP certification required, BLS certification required Must-Have: - Must have ASCP certification attached to the submission - Must have BLS certification through the American Heart Association Description: Under the direction of the Laboratory Manager and Laboratory Medical Director, the Laboratory Supervisor oversees day-to-day operations of laboratory personnel. Responsibilities include performing chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests. The role ensures adherence to quality control protocols. Assistance in maintaining laboratory equipment is required. Supports the Manager in staffing, training, and compliance with state and federal regulations. Candidates will be responsible for covering multiple campuses. Shifts will occur Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
