Job Title: Medical Technologist Profession: Medical Laboratory Specialty: Medical Technology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Varied Hours per Shift: 8.5 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty License: Required Certifications: ASCP, AMT, AAB Must-Have: Experience with Sysmex and CellaVision systems Description: We are seeking an experienced Medical Technologist. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a busy laboratory environment. Candidates should be familiar with handling complex samples, including turbid specimens, platelet clumps, and abnormal cell findings. Experience in managing large workloads and understanding the pace of a high-volume laboratory is essential. Candidates must have performed differentials accurately, especially in neonatal units. Those who are not already competent in these areas may require extensive training, which could delay their readiness for the role. Rapid transition into responsibilities is a key factor for this position.
