Job Title: Laboratory Supervisor Profession: Medical Technologist Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday-Friday Hours per Shift: 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM Experience: Minimum of 3 years recent lab supervisor experience License: Must have a high school diploma and graduated from an MT or CLS training program approved or accredited by relevant organizations Certifications: Must have ASCP certification and BLS certification from the American Heart Association Must-Have: - Must have 3 years of recent lab supervisor experience - Must have BLS certification attached to submission - Must have ASCP certification attached to submission Description: Under the direction of the Laboratory Manager and Laboratory Medical Director, the Laboratory Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of laboratory personnel engaged in performing chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests. The role ensures adherence to quality control protocols. The Laboratory Supervisor assists in maintaining laboratory equipment. The position supports the Manager in overseeing staffing and training. Compliance with state and federal regulations is a key responsibility of this role. Shifts will be Monday-Friday from 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Candidates will be responsible for covering multiple campuses.
