Job Description:

The Histology Technician demonstrates critical thinking skills, judgment, and proficiency in the practice of all technical procedures in accordance with standards set by applicable regulatory agencies including CAP, TJC, CLIA, AABB, and OSHA.

Responsibilities:

• Provide testing for patients with varying degrees of clinical conditions and different acuity levels.
• Conduct testing for all age ranges from newborns to geriatric patients.

Requirements:

• FL license
• ASCP certification
• 5+ years experience
• Ability to gross all specimen types (not just biopsies)
