General Cardiology MA - Seattle, WA **TEMP TO HIRE OPPORTUNITY; This position is available for LOCAL clinicians or NON-LOCAL clinicians who are open to relocation permanently if all goes well.**
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: 5x8hr Days, 0830-1700, Mon-Fri
  • Years of Experience REQ: At least 6 months of experience working as an MA; Cardiology experience is preferred but will review candidate with primary care setting experience instead, if necessary
  • First-Timers Accepted: Yes
  • Weekend REQ: No; Schedule is Mon-Fri
  • Certs REQ: BLS
  • Is on-call REQ? No
  • Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes; Some floating may be required, but it will be arranged well in advance (no same day floating)
  • Open to accommodating block schedule? No
  • Locals Accepted: Yes; Considered "local" within 50 mile radius, will accept locals at the same rate
  • Pending License Accepted: MA-C is preferred but will consider MA-R, if necessary
  • RTO Restrictions: Confirm with hiring manager
  • Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off traveler UP TO 1 shift per pay period (every 2 weeks)
SPECIAL NOTES
  • Candidate is expected to have reliable transportation (NOT PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION) and no additional scheduling restrictions. All travel pairs will be required to have their own transportation.
  • This role includes some administrative work, ie. refills, chart prep, inbasket help
  • This role requires chart preparation, telephone triage and authorization forms
  • There may be a travel aspect to this position. Position could require travel to satellite clinics regularly (Seattle primary, buy travel to Edmonds, Ballard, Redmond, Bellevue). PLEASE KEEP IN MIND as you submit and how transportation and housing may impact this. Public transportation will not suffice here.
  • Candidate must have AT LEAST their GED.
