Travel Medical Assistant (MA) in Philadelphia, PA

• Duration: 13-week contract
• Type: Temp to Perm (based on performance and client need)

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) to join our healthcare team. The candidate will support physicians and nursing staff by performing both clinical and administrative duties to ensure efficient patient care and smooth daily operations.

• Assist providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
• Record patient medical history, vital signs, and chief complaints accurately
• Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, injections, EKG/ECG, and specimen collection
• Prepare and clean examination rooms; maintain proper sterilization of instruments
• Administer medications as directed and within scope of practice
• Update and maintain patient records using EMR/EHR systems
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
• Verify insurance information and assist with administrative duties
• Educate patients on treatment plans and follow-up care
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, infection control, and safety protocols

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
• Active CCMA (Certified Clinical Medical Assistant) certification required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience required
• Local candidates only (must reside within 20 miles of the facility)
