Job Summary

 Valley Forge is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support physicians and the practice manager in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, and only candidates who are interested in converting to full-time employment with Penn Medicine will be considered.

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently with minimal training, contribute immediately to the practice, and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and room patients for physician visits

  • Obtain and record vital signs and patient medical histories

  • Assist physicians with clinical procedures and technical tasks

  • Maintain accurate patient documentation in the EMR system (EPIC preferred)

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff

  • Support the practice manager and physicians in maintaining efficient clinic operations

  • Ensure high standards of patient satisfaction and customer-focused care

  • Assist with patient flow and clinical workflow coordination

Required Qualifications
  • Active Medical Assistant Certification (CMA)

  • Previous experience working in a clinical healthcare setting

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Strong patient care, communication, and organizational skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • EPIC EMR experience preferred

Location Requirement
  • Local candidates only

  • Must be able to commute to Berwyn, PA within 30 minutes

  • Traffic conditions in the Philadelphia area should be considered when applying

Training
  • 4-hour virtual EMR training (Fridays)
