Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility in New York, NY 10128. This is a 3+ month contract assignment (convertible to permanent based on your work performance). and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Specific Duties:
Performs authorised procedures competently (i.e. vital signs, vision screening, selected laboratory tests, Blood drawing) as directed by the physician. Directs and/or escorts patients to exam rooms promptly, cleaning exam rooms.

Qualifications:
1-3 Years of Clinic Experience Required
High school graduate or GED equivalent
Medical Assistant Certification
Basic computer literacy required, with intermediate Excel skills
Knowledge of medical terminology required

Must have qualifications/experience:
High school graduate or GED equivalent
Certified/Registered Medical Assistant
BLS for healthcare providers
 
Additional Information:
Location: New York, NY 10128
Job Type: 3+ months contract to hire
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Shift start & end times: Monday-Friday, 9am - 5pm / 10am - 6pm / 10:30am -6:30pm
Workdays per week: 5 days
Pay Range: $18-23/hrs. on W2 without benefits
