Travel Medical Assistant (MA) - $1,200 to $1,300 per week in Issaquah, WA

We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Medical Assistant to join a busy outpatient clinic in Issaquah, Washington. This role involves supporting providers with both clinical procedures and administrative tasks while ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Position Details

• Title: Medical Assistant

• Location: Issaquah, WA 98029

• Shift: Day Shift – 5x8-Hour Shifts

• Schedule:8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

• Setting: Outpatient Clinic / Private Physician Office (Pediatrics, Adult & Family Practice)

• Room patients and obtain vital signs including height/weight, pulse oximetry, vision testing, hearing screening, and 12-lead EKG/ECG

• Record patient history, medications, and allergies

• Assist providers with procedures and sterile/aseptic setup

• Prepare exam rooms and position/drape patients for examinations

• Perform specimen collection and point-of-care testing

Common Clinical Skills

• Administer injections (immunizations, intramuscular, intradermal, TB tests)

• Perform ear lavage and nebulizer treatments

• Assist with biopsies, dressing changes, splinting, and Pap smears

• Conduct lab tests such as:

  • Strep testing

  • Blood glucose via glucometer

  • Pregnancy testing

  • Urine dipstick / urinalysis

• Chart preparation and documentation

• Insurance verification and authorization forms

• Scheduling patient appointments

• Coordinate pharmacy calls and medication refill requests

• Order and maintain clinic supplies

• Conduct patient follow-up calls

• Strong knowledge of clinical procedures and aseptic techniques

• Experience working in pediatric and adult outpatient settings

• Excellent organization, communication, and patient care skills

• Ability to multitask in a busy clinic environment
