Certifications/Licenses:
  • BLS
Mandatory Experience:
  • Dermatology Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)
  • Schedule: 5x8hr, 0800-1700 (Mon-Fri, occasional weekend shift MAX 5 per contract)
  • Experience: At least 6 months of Adult Outpatient Clinic setting is preferred, dermatology experience is preferred.
  • Professional Knowledge and Skills REQ:
    • Vital Signs: Obtain vital signs
    • Prepare for Exam: Record history/medications/allergies
    • Set Up and Assist with Procedures: Biopsy, Dressing change, Set up aseptic/sterile procedure trays
    • Specimen Collection: Labeling of specimens, Wound
    • Office Duties: Authorization Forms, Chart preparation, Pharmacy calls/patient refill requests, Scheduling patient appointments
    • Professional Knowledge and Skills: Aseptic technique, Suture removal
  • Type of Facility: Dermatology Clinic
  • Charting: EPIC (experience is REQUIRED)
