Travel Medical Assistant (MA) - $1,100 to $1,300 per week in Fort Defiance, AZ

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (day)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

• Prepare patients for ENT and outpatient surgical procedures with compassion and attention to detail
• Assist providers during clinic procedures and minor outpatient surgeries
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and procedure consents
• Maintain sterile technique and process instruments and supplies for procedures
• Coordinate pre-op and post-op instructions and ensure patients understand follow-up care
• Manage clinic documentation accurately and timely to support continuity of care
• Verify licensure, BLS status, and compliance requirements for traveler onboarding

• Current Certified Medical Assistant credential (CMA or equivalent)
• Active Arizona MA licensure or ability to meet Arizona MA criteria
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Experience in outpatient surgery or ENT clinic settings preferred
• Reliable Monday availability for orientation and timely compliance completion
• Strong communication and patient-centered bedside manner

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Certified Medical Assistant credential required

• Familiarity with outpatient surgical workflows and ENT clinic procedures
• Aseptic technique and instrument processing
• Patient triage, vital signs, and focused clinical assessments
• Clear patient education and pre/post procedure instructions
• Comfortable with clinic documentation and basic administrative tasks
• Teamwork mindset and ability to support providers in fast-paced clinic visits
