Travel Mammography Tech is needed for 13 weeks to start ASAP in a facility in Pennsylvania. ARRT and BLS are required. Minimum 2yrs experience as a Mammographer is required. (please ensure copy is included with submission) is required. Afternoons: 11am - 7:30pm (8 hrs). 40 hours per week are guaranteed. Mammography certification is required. CE's for Mammography MUST be included with submission for manager to review is required. Under the general supervision of the Imaging Operations Team Leader and the direction of the Radiologist, performs routine and special mammography procedures according to established practices and procedures. The mammography unit is a Hologic Selenia Dimensions 3D. Performs mammography studies; obtains patient history; explains routine procedures and addresses patient concerns. Under the direction of a Team Leader, is responsible for training other technicians/technologists, certifying that techs meet competencies. Maintains department quality assurance program. Positions patients safely and comfortably and explains basic procedure. Prepares and maintains written documentation as required by the profession and the department.
