Job Title: Intellectual Developmental Disabilities Supervisor Profession: Supervisor Specialty: Social Work Duration: Permanent Shift: Monday through Friday Hours per Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Experience: Minimum 1 year experience with intellectual and developmental disability diagnoses and relevant treatment modalities License: LMSW, LLP, or LPC (full license required) Certifications: Must meet the requirements for Children’s Mental Health Professional (CMHP) and Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) within 120 days of hire Must-Have: Master’s Degree in social work, psychology, or counseling Experience in examining, evaluating, and treating children and adolescents Ability to handle crisis situations Valid driver’s license with a favorable driving record Description: The Intellectual Developmental Disabilities Supervisor is responsible for all administrative and clinical functioning of the program. Regular working hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a minimum of one late evening shift per week. Based on client and program needs, additional hours including evenings and weekends may be required. Provide standard and clinical supervision to staff members utilizing a variety of supervisory methodologies. Manage and process crisis situations with program staff and clients. Maintain electronic medical record training and assist new staff. Review all treatment records and reports related to the treatment and services provided. Provide direction for documentation improvement. Manage staff and department within the span of control, making recommendations for hiring and termination of staff. Set and adjust work hours, conduct onboarding and training, and evaluate staff performance. Handle staff complaints and grievances and administer disciplinary actions as needed. Participate in monthly quality management meetings and implement quality improvement initiatives. Supervise case program consultations with staff. Ensure compliance with funding source program requirements. Maintain records of staff credentials and training hours. Conduct regular staff meetings and document outcomes. Assist clinical staff to utilize data from electronic medical record reports to meet program expectations. Assess community needs and assign priorities for service provision. Work collaboratively with inter-departmental groups to ensure consistent administration of the program. Complete required documentation and referrals as necessary. Act as a liaison and participate in agency committees as assigned. Complete a minimum of 24 hours of program-specific training annually. Support staff in adhering to Person-Centered Planning guidelines. Consult with management to ensure service activities meet established standards. Follow a professional code of ethics. Other duties may be assigned.
