Job Title: Travel Social Worker Profession: LMSW Specialty: Social Services Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Monday to Friday Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active Social Work License Certifications: LMSW, Master's in Social Work or equivalent educational degree Must-Have: - Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC and MIDAS - Ability to work as an independent starter - Willingness to consult with other professionals - Creativity to address unique challenges Description: This position is for a Travel Social Worker. It requires a Master's degree in Social Work or an equivalent educational background. The Social Worker will be responsible for assessing social situations and needs. They will write plans accordingly based on assessments. Participation in multidisciplinary team rounds for discharge planning is essential. The Social Worker will float to various units and provide rotational coverage. Occasional weekend coverage may be required, but it is rare. Attire for this position can include scrubs or business casual. No on-call shifts are required.
