Make a meaningful impact as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Falmouth, MA. We are seeking an experienced LCSW to provide assessment, treatment planning, and discharge coordination for patients presenting with behavioral health needs in an emergency department setting. Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social work (MSW) from an accredited program.
- Current licensure in good standing. Acceptable licenses: Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctorate in Psychology (PhD).
- Clinical experience conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and leading discharge planning in acute care, emergency department, inpatient behavioral health, or similar settings. Minimum two years of supervised clinical experience preferred.
- Crisis intervention experience, including initiation of crisis prevention and crisis intervention services and coordination with families and community resources.
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) or MOAB (Management of Aggressive Behavior) certification required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and communicating with managed care organizations preferred.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital (Emergency Department behavioral health services).
- Shift: Days.
- Shift hours: 08:00–18:00.
- Schedule pattern: 3x10.
- Standard hours per week: 30.
- Duration: 13-week travel assignment.
- Clinical responsibilities include initial clinical assessments, creation of initial treatment plans, leading treatment and discharge planning, individual and group counseling, liaison with community agencies, and coverage for inpatient and partial hospital behavioral health clinicians as needed.
